Aroma of Tea :

When I was in my 8th grade,in evening we were all sitting around the fireplace and having a cup of tea,my Granny Ma had often told us that how Tea is introduced in our family. She had told it was early nineteen century when our country was ruled by British,One day our Grand Pa came and gave her a sachet(a gift from an Englishman). When she opened, it looked like an odd thing to her(that was a tea bag). She put it aside in the kitchen. One winter evening he asked for a cup of tea.She made one cup for him and one for herself. Oh!that was really great taste.Since thatday she never gave up tea . That was my Grand Ma 's tea love story.People will agree with me that a morning will be incomplete without the presence of a cup of tea. I think it is necessary for us to start our day with acup of tea.I am great tea lover it is an aromatic beverage.                                           .

Some Lines From " Little Girl Lost:

The balcony immediately below our flat had an awning, and when I accidentlly dropped a gooseberry over,it bounced down the taut fabric of the awning with a ping, ping. What a wonderful noise I thought and let another one fall over the side. Bofore long, I had dropped every single berry over the balcony, just to hear the sound they made.

I have many memories of my life in the flat on the Wandsbecker Chaussee. The smell of baking bread still takes me right back there, because on the ground floor of our block was a bakery run by a family called Wedemeier and from very early in the morning the delicious aroma of baking bread would pervade the area.

Book Review :

Little Girl Lost  Written By Barbie Probert-Wright with Jean
Ritchie
This story starts with a family living in a cosy apartment in Hamburg(Garmany). It is about a child ( Barbie ) who is free from all terrible aspects of life and who is only familiar to love, warmth and food. But across Europe the second world war was spreading. As the war progressed,Barbie's father was calledup. Her mother sent her to stay with her sister Eva in Tabarz.(she was sent away to a BDM home as a teacher)They were both living contently but the day came when  they found themselves in great danger and both girls wanted to be reunited with their mother.
They setout toghether to trek across Germany to find her, walking through battlefields, witnessing death first hand, sheltering from gunfire, sleeping rough and starving.Seven years old Barbie saw sights that no child should ever have to witness. She also met with incredible generosity and overwhelming kindness.Against all the odds, they survived.
In this book we can see war from a different perspective that how Germans were suffering from the world war.
I conclude my review with these lines ........."We were sustained throughout our travels by our love for our mother, and I was protected and cherished by Eva's love for me."

Magazines For Children :

When I was at school I used to read monthly magazines  for children "Naunehal" (children), Dawn's Young World and Young Times. These  magazines  are source of knowledge for kids.Apart from knowledge, it enhances the abilities of youngsters in different ways.
People, especially parents and teachers should agree with me that to build reading and writing power in kids, children's magazines play an important role.I think kids magazines are a powerful medium for the prosperity of literature. kids magazines awake their dormant talents.Increase their power of imagination to create something .Such as: drawing, story writing etc.
